WG2 training school at Athens
GameTable will hold a Graffiti Games Documentation Training School in Athens from 10-12 May 2025. 13 trainees will learn how to record and identify games etched into ancient monuments and other surfaces. The training school is a collaboration between WG2 leaders Walter Crist and Tim Penn and WG5 leaders Barbara Carè and Dorina Moullou. Classroom training will occur at the Hellenic Open University in Athens on 10 May, followed by two days of training in the field at archaeological sites in Attika.

An international and interdisciplinary network of scholars and stakeholders from all career stages across academia, industry, and heritage institutions to inspire methodologies and applications on how to use game AI to study, reconstruct, and preserve the intangible cultural heritage of games.
